The GLSD is excited to announce the receipt of over $260,000 in State and Federal grants to replace the County K Marsh (CKM) carp barrier and undertake habitat & shoreline improvements within the marsh. Believed by the DNR and the Lake Management Team the first step in restoring the CKM to a clear water, healthy wetland community, the barrier replacement project has been in the works by the District for 3+ years. We will provide additional project information as we get closer to the Fall 2026 construction project.
