Buckthorn Cleanup on Conservancy Properties

The Green Team is ready to tackle another year of fall buckthorn removal on Saturday mornings. This fall is the team’s 12th year cleaning up various Conservancy properties. Native Prairie Seed Collection

Lisa Reas will be leading volunteers on a late morning (to avoid morning dew/frost) prairie flower and grass seed collection event at Dawson Prairie in the Green Lake Conference Center. We will be collecting seed from a variety of native plants such as purple coneflower, blazing star, compass plant, milkweed, asters, little bluestem, Indian grass, and prairie dropseed.
