ASSEMBLY CREEK AND SPRINGS
20+ acres; 1,100 feet frontage on Green Lake; protected since 2008
This property, which includes 1,100 feet of Green Lake frontage, was purchased from the Green Lake Conference Center and is situated on the same. Hammer’s Trail, a walking loop of approximately two-thirds mile length, was established in 2009, and included the construction of five bridges over several creeks and springs. These waterways merge into Assembly Creek, which flows into Norwegian Bay of Green Lake.
Public Access: A trailhead and parking area are immediately west of the GLCC’s historic Tea House, near the Green Lake Sanitary District lift station. The site can also be reached by boat from Norwegian Bay.
