Together with our partner organization, the Green Lake Association, the Green Lake Sanitary District is providing short-term relief to Green Lake's weed problems through the purchase of a second weed harvester. That means twice as frequent weed harvester visits and fewer weeds that tangle up swimming and boating.

In February of 2013, the GLSD and it's partners received DNR approval for a comprehensive lake management plan (LMP). Since the approval, extensive LMP activities have started and some have already been completed. Millions of dollars are committed to this effort and the lake is being protected and on a steady course of improvement to be enjoyed by future generations.
