The GLSD operates as both a sewer utility and as a lake district. Through the use of our residents’ tax dollars, we provide services including funding agricultural best management practices in the watershed to improve water quality entering the lake, purchasing and maintaining Conservancy Partnership properties, harvesting aquatic plants from the navigation lanes of the lake, harvesting carp from the County K Marsh, operating the Green Lake fish rearing facility, etc.
